LBC has been named the highest revenue contributing door to door consolidator for 2017. The recognition was given to LBC by the Manila International Container Port during the latter’s 39th Founding Anniversary held recently at their compound in Isla Puting Bato in North Harbor Manila.
LBC was honored alongside other importers, exporters, brokers, consolidators, MICP personnel and other stakeholders who contributed to the increased revenue collection of MICP from January 1 to November 30 of 2017. According to the latest data, November collections set a new record for highest collections yet. Though Bureau of Customs District Collector Ruby Alameda was elated over the rise in revenues, she was quoted as saying that “Our work is not yet done. There is still so much to do”.
LBC Express SVP for Overseas Retail and System Operations, Rene E. Fuentes, who received the award on behalf of LBC, had this to say: “It’s an honor to be able to help our government achieve it’s target revenues while providing our overseas Filipinos with an invaluable service.”
