Autodesk Solution Day

Last Thursday, June 17, 2010 was the Autodesk Solution Day. Two known personality in the field of AutoCAD and 3DSMax Design are the speakers. Lynn Allen who is a AutoCAD Evangelist and Matthew Deewes a 3DSMax Design Expert. The event was held at the Center Stage in SM Mall of Asia. It was sponsored by Wordtext Systems, Inc. (WSI).

Different companies has sent their representatives to attend the said event. Most of them are Engineers, Designers, Architects, Advertisers, and other enthusiasts.

The talk mainly discuss about the new features of AutoCAD 2011 and 3DSMax Design. The new features are more user-friendly and can really lessen the working hours. Some of the new features are Object Selection and Creation tools, Parametrics, Transparency, Hatchets and Gradients, and the best new feature is the incorporation of easy 3d designs inside AutoCAD. On 3DSMax Design is somewhat more on the integration of brushing and coloring your 3d object inside the 3DSMax. They also give a few preview of the new software from Autodesk, the Alias Sketch which you can incorporate with the AutoCAD design. Creating and coloring your subject free-handedly.

This is the first time that I attended a talk like this and it is a good experience. So maybe starting now I'll be looking forward for other events like this. The only bad thing is that I wasn't able to fully charge my camera.
