Last January 6, 2009, Motorola revealed a new phone for consumers/users who uses touch tables. The Surf A3100, a touch tablet with a customizable home screen running Windows Mobile 6.1 software.
With a tip of a finger, a stylus or an omni-directional trackball, users can easily access applications and toggle documents back and forth. They can personalized home screen icons to get live feeds on weather, news, personal and work email, messaging and calendar events.
Users can access video conferencing or update their Facebook status through the Wi-Fi and 3G. They can also navigate from point A to B using aGPS.
The Motorola Surf A3100 will be available in multiple regions beginning in Q1 2009, including Asia and Latin America.
