January 6, 2009 HTC unveiled a new QWERTY Smartphone for their avid consumers. Unveiling the HTC S743 which runs with the Windows Mobile 6.1 application, slide out keyboard and high-speed HSDPA (850/1900 MHz) connectivity.
With its faceted ergonomic design feature and with a measure of mere 1.7 inches wide, this smartphone comfortably fits right into your palm. With its large and bright 2.4-inch QVGA display, reading and responding to email and SMS or accessing the Internet is much clear and easier.
With a full QWERTY keyboard, the S743 takes advantage of its messaging options. Running on Windows Mobile 6.1, it has access to Microsoft Exchange as well as personal POP3 and IMAP4 email protocols. Along with SMS and MMS messaging, support for instant messaging standards is included.
The HTC S743 will be available through independent channels in the U.S.
